STORMWATER COMMISSION MEETING SUMMARY Thursday, March 11, 2010 The following persons were present: Richard Wlodarski, Andrew Vitale, Chuck Ostman, Mousa Nazzal, Steven Vinezeano, Scott Jochim, and Mayor Callero. Not present were Committee Chair Joe Lo Verde and George Van Geem. I. Project Manager Vinezeano distributed RFPs returned by Hey and Associates, MWH, and Christopher Burke Engineering. A quick update was provided by Vinezeano for the residents to help them follow the meeting. The following preliminary information was provided to the Commission orally by the Project Manager who reviewed the proposals the night before: In general, each of the three firms approached the project in a similar manner. Each wishes to complete a village-wide analysis to provide overall recommendations on flood risk reduction and then provide detailed modeling on specific areas of concern. The Commission will then need to meet with that firm to “massage” the Scope of Work and finalize a project cost in time for the April 27th Village Board meeting.
