CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Stokes called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m.

Present: 5- Vice Mayor Pete Emrich, Commissioner Barbara Langdon, Commissioner David
Duval, Commissioner Demetrius Petrow and Mayor Philip Stokes
ALSO PRESENT
City Manager Fletcher, Assistant, City Attorney Coughlin, City Clerk Faust, Board
Specialist Lane, Deputy Police Chief Morales, Fire Chief Titus, and Public Works Deputy
Director Wisner.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Public Works Deputy Director Tricia Wisner.
1. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
A motion was made by Vice Mayor Emrich, seconded by Commissioner Langdon,
to approve the consent agenda as presented. The motion carried on the following
vote:

There was no public comment.
3. CONSENT AGENDA:

RESOLUTIONS:
A. RES. NO. A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of North Port, Florida as
2025-R-36 the Governing Body of the North Port Road and Drainage District,
Authorizing the Purchase of Real Property Located on Kacher Road and
Described as Lot 20, Block 1586, 32nd Addition to Port Charlotte
Subdivision, Sarasota County Property Appraiser Parcel Identification
Number 1138158620; Incorporating Recitals; Providing for Filing of
Documents; Providing for Conflicts; Providing for Severability; and
Providing an Effective Date.
Mayor Stokes announced the item and called on the City Clerk to read by title only.
Ms. Faust read the Resolution by title only.
Mr. Fletcher introduced the item.
There were no Commission questions or discussion.
There was no public comment.
Mayor Stokes closed the public hearing and requested a motion.
A motion was made by Commissioner Langdon, seconded by Vice Mayor Emrich,
to adopt Resolution No. 2025-R-36 as presented. The motion carried on the
following vote:

Authorizing the Purchase of Real Property Located on Muglone Lane;
Described as Lot 1, Block 163 of 5th Addition to Port Charlotte
Subdivision, Identified as Parcel Identification Number 1003016301;
Incorporating Recitals; Providing for Filing of Documents; Providing for
Conflicts; Providing for Severability; and Providing an Effective Date.

NOTICE OF AVAILABILITY OF REPORTS - The Agenda is a summary of the proposed actions to be taken by the City
Commission. For almost every agenda item, the City staff has prepared materials for Commission consideration and
provided a staff recommendation. All of these materials are available at the City Clerk's Office, during normal
business hours, for inspection and (for a fee) copying. Questions on these materials may be directed to the staff
member who prepared them, or to the City Clerk's Office, who will refer you to the appropriate person.
AMERICAN WITH DISABILITIES ACT OF 1990 - The North Port City Hall is wheelchair accessible. Special parking is
available on the west side of City Hall and the building may be accessed from the parking area. Persons with hearing
difficulties should contact the City Clerk to obtain a hearing device for use during meetings.
