CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Emrich called the meeting to order at 4:00 p.m.
ROLL CALL
Present: 5- Mayor Pete Emrich, Vice Mayor Barbara Langdon, Commissioner David Duval,
Commissioner Demetrius Petrow and Commissioner Philip Stokes
ALSO PRESENT
City Manager Fletcher, City Attorney Fuino, Deputy City Clerk Powell, Board Specialist
Lindner, Police Captain Fussell, and Fire Chief Titus.
Mayor Emrich read statement regarding rules of decorum.
PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Vice Mayor Langdon.

Mayor Emrich requested a motion to approve the agenda.
A motion was made by Commissioner Stokes, seconded by Vice Mayor Langdon,
to approve the agenda as presented. The motion carried on the following vote:

Mayor Emrich announced the item and queried the City Manager regarding items pulled
from the consent agenda for discussion.
There was no public comment.
Mayor Emrich requested a motion.
A motion was made by Vice Mayor Langdon, seconded by Commissioner Petrow,
to approve the consent agenda as presented. The motion carried on the following
vote:

A. 26-0495 Approve the First Amendment to Drainage Easement Agreement Between
the North Port Road and Drainage District and AdventHealth Port

Tamiami Trail, North Port, Florida 34287, Parcel Identification Number
1002001090.
This item was approved on the consent agenda.
B. 26-0595 Approval of the March 24, 2026 Road and Drainage District Governing
Body Minutes.
This item was approved on the consent agenda.
4. PUBLIC HEARINGS:
A. RES. NO. A Resolution of the City Commission of the City of North Port, Florida, as
2026-R-18 the Governing Body of the North Port Road and Drainage District,
Authorizing the Purchase of Real Property Located on Shorewood Street;
Described as Lot 67, Block 666 of the 17th Addition to Port Charlotte
Subdivision, Parcel Identification Number 0958066667; Incorporating
Recitals; Providing for Filing of Documents; Providing for Conflicts;
Providing for Severability; and Providing an Effective Date.
Mayor Emrich announced the item and called on the Deputy City Clerk to read by title
only.
Mr. Powell read the Resolution by title only.
Mr. Fletcher introduced the item.
There were no Commission questions or discussion.

adopt Resolution No. 2026-R-18 as presented. The motion carried on the following
