27 Chairman Schwall called the meeting to order in the Terrace Room of Village Hall, 1225 Cedar Lane, at
28 5:35 p.m.

30 Roll Call
31 Roll was established. There was a quorum.

33 Review of Minutes
34 Commissioner Menn moved, seconded by Commissioner Jordison to approve the May 21, 2015,
35 Architectural Control Commission (ACC) meeting minutes as submitted. On a voice vote, there were all
36 ayes, and the motion was unanimously approved.

38 Public Comments Regarding Items Not on the Agenda

41 Status Report - Building Permit Extension Request for 1722 Chapel Court
42 Assistant Director Desario distributed photos of the construction underway at 1722 Chapel. He also
43 distributed an updated construction schedule for the project, which referred to the agreement for the
44 permit extension and construction schedule. He noted the property owner intended to be present this
45 evening. Mr. Desario confirmed that a new general contractor was involved and construction is moving
46 ahead.

2 Members concurred that construction now seems to be moving forward and that the owner and new
3 contractor are diligently pursuing completion. Members concurred that monthly updates were no
4 longer needed so long as the construction continues to comply with the schedule.
5 Continued Review of New Single Family Home Elevations:
6 1. 2567 Walters (R-4 District) – Orren Pickell Design Group, Inc., architect
7 Director Poupard displayed the building material and color samples that were selected for the above
8 home. He noted that the ACC had asked to see these materials given the design of the home. Members
9 discussed the materials and it was agreed they were acceptable. Member Katz made a motion to
10 approve the elevation for 2567 Walters with the materials and color samples submitted. Member Menn
11 seconded. On voice vote, the motion passed unanimously.

13 1. 920 Hawthorne (R-4 District), BDS Architects
14 2. 2232 Oak Ave. (R-5 District) – George W. Simoulis, architect
15 3. 3969 Walters Ave. (R-3 District) – ABD & Associates, architects
16 4. 1254 Wendy (R-4 District) – AIA Architects
17 The ACC reviewed the information on the new single family home elevations.

19 Motion by Member Menn, seconded by Commissioner Katz, to approve these single-family home
20 elevations as presented. On a voice vote, there were all ayes and the motion passed.

26 Director Poupard updated the Commission on the recent discussion by the Board concerning the
27 proposed zoning regulations for the downtown area.

30 There being no further business, Commissioner Menn moved, seconded by Commissioner Jordison, to
31 adjourn the meeting. On a voice vote, the motion unanimously carried and the meeting adjourned at
32 6:10 pm.
