to the Large/Small project lists. The edits included removal of Skokie Valley Trail from the large
project list as this project is being pursued by Village; correction of the name for the Techny

also volunteers on the School Board for District 30. Ken attended the meeting to learn more
about the Skokie Valley Trail project and to express interest on the role of this committee
within the community.
Old Business.
For committee participation on the meeting agenda, it was discussed for staff to send out a
email three weeks prior to the meeting for ideas to add. The Task Force thought it will be
beneficial to resume the potential for examining an in-house school safety training program
and to contact Active Transportation Alliance about feasibility.
The Bicycle Task force committee discussed participation for the annual Earth/Arbor Day event
scheduled for April 25th; as with previous year general dialogue with attendees and circulating
of bicycle related literature.
