APPROVED MINUTES OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTHBROOK INDUSTRIAL AND COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION Village Hall Terrace Room October 16, 2012 Members Present: Chairman Patrick Lederer, Curt Wilens, Larry Herskovitz, Richard Rushkewicz, Brian Lee, Susan Elfant, David Gottlieb, Dick Leopold, and Jill Narens . Members Absent: Mark Freeman and Tensley Garris Staff Present: David Schoon Other: James Karagianis. Call to Order Chairman Lederer called the meeting to order in the Terrace Room of Village Hall at 3:05 p.m. Public Comment- Hear from the Audience None Tour of Industrial Buildings The Commission spent the meeting touring the following industrial buildings that could possibly benefit by the Class 6b incentive: 1885 Holste Road – a 25,000 sf warehouse/industrial building that has been vacant for at least two years. Tour provided by Corey Chase. 1808-1850 Holste Road – 85,600 sf building. Approximately 36,000 sf of the building is occupied. Tour provided by Nick Walby. 3005 MacArthur Blvd – 53,126 sf building. The building is still partially occupied. Tour provided by Mike Altman. 237 Melvin Dr – a 20,227 sf industrial/warehouse building vacant for since February 2012. Tour provided by Steve Stone.
