CONNPAC MEETING MINUTES Date: October 7, 2010 Time: 10:00am Location: CSP – Middletown Room 348 Attendees: Norwalk, Manchester, State Capitol Police, Enfield, Guilford, Monroe, Simsbury, Judicial Marshals, Berlin, Glastonbury (Incomplete) Meeting Called to order at 10:05am by Vice President Jina Toribio. Secretary’s Report: MMSC to accept the Secretary’s Report Treasurer Report: $4827.55 Balance. TOPICS DISCUSSED ANNOUNCEMENTS • Tier II onsite conducted for Monroe PD in September – Awaiting POST Council action • Mock Onsite request from Glastonbury PD for November 2, 2010. Assessors needed. OLD BUSINESS PAC Website – Proposed web designs distributed and consensus was to select the green design but ask that the menu be moved to the left side. The first installment of $1200 will be paid to the web designer. NEW BUSINESS Brief Discussion on the proposed revision to the CALEA onsite process. Those attending the California conference will attempt to gather additional information for the PAC. UCONN PD to host the holiday luncheon meeting. Thus far the consensus is to have it on Friday December 10th. More information to follow. Brief discussion on problems with CACE software since the upgrade related to statistical reports. Brief discussion on moving to quarterly meetings once the website is complete. Capitol Police distributed their newly revised Juvenile policy. They advised that it was reviewed and revised by States Attorney Carino of the Juvenile Division and can serve as a model policy when revising department policies.
