SUBDIVISION COMMITTEE
November 15, 2016
PRESENT: George Tsiranides, Chair; Fran DiMeglio; Walter McLaughlin;
David Davidson; Steven Ferguson; William Dune;
STAFF: Steven Kleppin; Mike Wrinn
Ms. DiMeglio called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.
After the meeting began, Ms. DiMeglio announced the committee assignments.
Mr. Tsiranides would be the Chairperson of the Subdivision Committee with Mr.
McLaughlin on the committee as well. Mr. Ferguson would be the Chairperson of the
Land Use Committee, along with Ms. King, Mr. Davidson and Mr. Dunne on it. A third
person would rotate onto the Subdivision Committee when the Planning Commission
was assigned an 8th member.
I. SUBDIVISIONS
a) Subdivision #3642 / #24-16 CAM - Halloran & Sage, LLP – 34 Meadow
Street – 2 Lots – Further review
Mr. Wrinn began the presentation by orienting the commissioners as to the
location of the property on a map. There were some issues with the application because
the Water Department does not allow a water line over a right of way. Mr. Wrinn said
that a public hearing was necessary and could happen in December. There was a
discussion of the sidewalks and whether the applicant would request a waiver. They
have not submitted a sidewalk plan.
b) Subdivision #3585 - 200 Rowayton Avenue, LLC – 3 Witch Lane – 2
Lots – Release of maintenance bond
Mr. Wrinn explained that the applicant had done all the maintenance that was
requested and should receive its bond. The commissioners moved it to the full
Commission agenda.
The meeting was adjourned at 7:37 p.m.
