The motion carried. TIF 1 Review Nina Coppola reviewed the TIF report format and presented a summary of the report’s sections, including financial information. Cook County asked if there were any prospective developments pursuant to the comprehensive plan. Travis Bandstra explained that the City has received some inquiries from prospective developers regarding some vacant private and public parcels in TIF 1. One parcels is under contract and the Village should have more information in about six (6) months. . Motion to deny carried 8-0-0 with 1 absent. This will move forward with a negative recommendation to City Council. City Council will hear this item on February 13 at 7:30 p.m. for final determination. TIF 2 Review Nina Coppola reviewed the TIF report format and presented a summary of the report’s sections, including financial information. Travis Bandstra reported that the Village is working with a developer on a potential project consisting of 80 to 100 market-rate residential units near the train station. The other project would consist of some engineering work with FEMA to remove certain portions of the northwest corner of 159th & Cicero from the flood plain. The County described a consortium that offers private activity bonds that could be available for the residential development project. TIF 4 Review Robert Rychlicki reviewed the TIF report format for FY 2015 presented a summary of the report’s sections. Adam Dotson indicated that the City approved a redevelopment agreement for a mixed use project with a sportsman’s/gun club use. TIF 5 Review Robert Rychlicki reviewed the TIF report format and presented a summary of the report’s sections. Adam Dotson reported that the City has continued to review both commercial and industrial proposals for the area. TIF 6 Review Robert Rychlicki reviewed the TIF report format and presented a summary of the report’s sections. Adam Dotson reported that the City has continued to review commercial proposals for the area including the reuse of the vacant Ace Hardware site. TIF 7 Review Appointment of the Public Member of the Joint Review Board Oak Forest City Administrator Tim Kristin moved to appoint Andrew Tinberg as the Public Member of the Joint Review Board for TIF 7. The motion was seconded by Cindy Grannan of the Oak Forest Park District. Upon a roll call vote, the motion passed unanimously.
