Call To Order Call to order 6:37 p.m. 2. Roll Call Present were members of the Contract Review Committee President Anan Abu-Taleb and Trustees Adam Salzman and Robert Tucker. Others present were Village Clerk Teresa Powell and staff members Village CFO Steve Drazner, Village Manager Cara Pavlicek and Village Attorney Paul Stephanides. 3. Public Comment There was no public comment. 4. Approval of Minutes A. ID 16-218 Approval of Minutes from May 16, 2016 It was moved by Trustee Tucker and seconded by Trustee Salzman to approve the minutes of the May 16, 2016, meeting. The minutes were approved as submitted. 5. New Business B. ID 16-217 Review of Applicable Items Scheduled for the July 18, 2016 Regular Meeting The Board reviewed the following contract items: RES 16-263 A Resolution Approving an Agreement for Public Health Nursing Services with Joanne Despotes, R.N. Committee members discussed the requirement for this position as part of the Health Department requirements under state law and the value added in recent communicable disease outbreaks. RES 16-258 A Resolution Authorizing a Change Order to the Contractual Services Agreement between CityView, a Division of N. Harris Computer Corporation, and the Village of Oak Park. Village of Oak Park Page 1 Printed on 8/3/2016 Contract Review Committee Meeting Minutes July 5, 2016 Manager Pavlicek explained that reconfigurations are required to work with the alarm database and meet state reporting requirements for restaurant inspections and that such changes are a normal part of the development of a new technology system. Costs wll be covered by Fire and Health departments. MOT 16-078 A Motion Directing Village Staff to Prepare a Successor Agreement with Waste Management for Residential Refuse, Recycling, Yardwaste and Composting Collection. Committee members discussed the value of rebidding long-term contracts and provided direction to staff regarding contract negotiations. ORD 16-058 An Ordinance Amending Chapter 15 (“Motor Vehicles and Traffic”). Manager Pavlicek provided background regarding the use of parking facilities by boutique hotels. Committee members discussed the proposed revisions and provided direction to staff regarding implementation. ORD 16-051 An Ordinance Amending Chapter 15 (“Motor Vehicles and Traffic”). Manager Pavlicek provided information about use of garage space by employees in the downtown area and possible shifts in use. Manager Pavlicek reported that a new paving contract will be presented at the July 18 Board meeting based on expectations of contractors. 6. Old Business There was no old business. 7. Adjournment It was moved by Trustee Tucker, seconded by Trustee Salzman to adjourn the meeting.
