Roll Call The meeting was called to order at 7:00 p.m. in room 130. Present: President Abu-Taleb, Trustee Brewer, Trustee Tucker and Trustee Ott. Also in attendance: Cara Pavlicek, Village Manager, Tammie Grossman, Director of Development Customer Service and Paul Stephanides, Village Attorney II. Approval of Minutes of February 3, 2015 Trustee Tucker made a motion to approve the minutes of February 3, 2015. Seconded by Trustee Brewer. Ayes: all. Nays: none. Motion carried. III. Public Comment There were no public comments. IV. Old Business A. Plan Review Services Manager Pavlicek discussed plan review services in the Development Customer Services Department and Director Grossman provided a report on the responses to the Request for Proposals which was issued following the attempt to recruit for a plan reviewer vacancy and the inability to identify candidate for the position. In addition, with another vacancy in the structure engineer plan reviewer position, the RFP has provided a good comparison of cost of services. As such, staff recommends presenting a contract for services to the Village Board with HR Green. B. Budget Related Follow-up Various Contracts for Services A status report on discussions with both Visit Oak Park and the Housing Center was provided related to the one-year contract for services between the Village and east agency was reviewed and the progress being made by each group to provide a recommendation to the Village on the process by which each can reduce their reliance on Village funding. Assistant Village Manager Vacancy Manager Pavlicek discussed the Assistant Village Manager vacancy position and reviewed options for filling the vacancy based upon the current position classification or alternatively with a classification of Management Analyst. VI. Motion to Adjourn to Executive Session to discuss the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees f the public body pursuant to 5 ILCS120/2 (c) (1). There was a motion to adjourn to Executive Session to discuss the appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees of the public body pursuant to 5 ILCS120/2(c)(1) by Trustee Ott at 8:02 p.m. Seconded by Trustee Brewer. Ayes: all. Nays: none. Motion carried. Meeting was adjourned to Executive Session at 8:02 p.m. The Committee returned to open session at 8:30 p.m. and there was no further discussion. VII. Adjourn There was a motion to adjourn the meeting by Trustee Tucker at 8:30 p.m. Seconded by Trustee Brewer. Ayes: all. Nays: none. Motion carried.
