Call To Order The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. in room 130. 2. Roll Call Present: President Abu-Taleb, Trustees Brewer, Lueck, Trustee Tucker and Trustee Ott. Also in attendance: Cara Pavlicek, Village Manager, Village Attorney Paul Stephanides, CFO Drazner and Tammie Grossnab, Director of Development Customer Service. 3. Public Comment There were no public comments. 4. Approval of Minutes Trustee Tucker made a motion to approve the minutes of October 21, 2015. Seconded by Trustee Ott. Ayes: all. Nays: none. Motion Carried. 5. New Business A. ID 16-146 Update on the Village’s Replacement Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System CFO Drazner provided an update on the Village's replacement of PeopleSoft with a new ERP system was reviewed. Specific discussion was held regarding the current use of ADP for payroll processing and the value performing the work within the ERP system. It was asked if the staff would survey other cities about how they are processing payroll. The review of the recommendation related to BS&A by the Citizen Information Systems Commission (CISC) was also discussed. B. ID 16-147 Update on Business District Support Grants Development Customer Services Director Grossman provided an update on Business District Support Grants and reviewed the partnership options Village of Oak Park Page 1 Printed on 12/14/2018 Reinventing Government Meeting Minutes May 3, 2016 Committee with the Chamber of Commerce. The model program with the Pleasant Distrcit was reviewed and there was discussion about Cathy Yen of the Chamber of Commerce's Phase I proposal for services and Phase II which would help Business Districts run meetings and identify events. Trustee Tucker asked to ensure Oak Park dollars are limited to Oak Park. Trustee Lueck stated that outcomes need to benefit and tie back to the Village of Oak Park. It was noted that the database of commercial properties will be retained at the EDC. There was support for a two year commitment with an update every six months. C. ID 16-148 Update on Arts Consolidation Development Customer Services Director Grossman provided an update on the work to combine the Oak Park Area Arts Council and the Public Art Advisory Commission. There was support for continuation and it was noted by trustees that there is benefit of public art being considered more broadly. 6. Old Business 7. Adjournment There was a motion to adjourn by Trustee Lueck and seconded by Trustee Brewer. Ayes: all. Nays: none. Motion carried.
