To confirm meeting dates, call (405) 297­2212. It is the policy of The City of Oklahoma City to ensure that communications with participants and members of the public with disabilities are as effective as communications with others. Anyone with a disability who requires an accommodation, a modification of policies or procedures, or an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this meeting should call (405) 297­2212, or TDD (405) 297­2020, at least 48 hours in advance (excluding weekends or holidays). OCRRA will give primary consideration to the choice of auxiliary aid or service requested by the individual with disability before the scheduled meeting. If you need an alternative format of the agenda, or any information provided at this meeting, call (405) 297­2212 at least 48 hours before the meeting (excluding weekends or holidays). Addressing OCRRA Citizens may address OCRRA on certain items by signing up to speak and providing the agenda item number, their name and address, and their reason for appearing. All comments must be relevant to the item. The presiding officer may prohibit a person from addressing OCRRA, or have any person removed from the Council Chambers, if they commit any disorderly or disruptive behavior. Disorderly conduct includes, but is not limited to: Speaking without being recognized by the presiding officer; continuing to speak after notice that the allotted time has expired; presenting comments or material not relevant to the item under discussion; failing to comply with the lawful instructions of the presiding officer; or engaging in other conduct, activity, or speech that delays, disturbs, or interferes with the effective or timely conduct of the meeting or is otherwise violent, threatening, abusive, obscene, or jeopardizes the safety of self or others. A person may also be subject to arrest and removal from the Council Chambers for violating the Oklahoma City Municipal Code, 2020, § 30​81 – Disorderly Conduct and/or Violation of the Oklahoma Statutes, Title 21, § 280 ­ Willfully Disturbing, Interfering with, or Disrupting State Business, Agency Operations, or Employees. Citizens may not address OCRRA under “Items from the Chairman,” “Comments by Staff,” or “Comments by Trustees” (except for items listed for a vote or if asked for comments by a Trustee). Citizens may also address OCRRA on individual concerns, including on the listed exceptions, at the end of the agenda under “Comments by Citizens.” However, “Comments by Citizens” is not a forum for publicly announced or declared candidates for City office, and such persons will not be allowed to speak under “Comments by Citizens.” No person will be allowed to campaign on any political issue during the OCRRA meeting. Comments must concern OCRRA policies or actions. Please fill out a “Request to be Heard” form located outside the Council Chambers, and submit it to a staff member. When recognized by the Chairman, PLEASE LIMIT YOUR COMMENTS TO THREE MINUTES. OCRRA Actions OCRRA may adopt, approve, ratify, deny, defer, recommend, receive, amend, or continue any agenda item. Trustee actions are not limited by staff recommendations. If more information is needed, OCRRA may refer matters to the General Manager or to legal counsel, or submit them to committees, boards, commissions, or independent consultants for additional study.
