Main Street, Suite B.; OKC, OK 73102 NO Video or Teleconference Option is Available PARTICIPANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR IN PERSON MEETING The Oklahoma County Criminal Justice Advisory Council will be meeting IN PERSON on February 16, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. The Council encourages participation in the public meeting from the residents of Oklahoma County. Participants who wish to speak under Citizen Participation will need to sign up to speak using the Oklahoma County Criminal Justice Advisory Council form available on the registration table. Citizens will be limited to 2 minutes to speak to Council. Citizens may address the Council but all comments must be relevant to topics on the agenda. Citizens’ Participation is not provided as a general forum and is not a forum for support/opposition of publicly announced or declared candidates for public office/issues, as such, they will not be allowed to be discussed. Citizens will not be allowed to campaign on any political issue during the Council meeting. Comments must strictly concern specific Council actions or policies on the agenda. PLEASE LIMIT YOUR COMMENTS TO 2 MINUTES. Special Considerations for Attendance in an OKC Facility Because the room is in a public building, all attendees agree to abide by the rules of decorum befitting a public building, including that all attendees should conduct themselves “in a dignified and orderly manner…” in accordance with all Facility Rules and Regulations or be removed from the premises. Council Actions Official action can be taken only on items which appear on the agenda. The Council may adopt, approve, ratify, deny, defer, recommend, amend, strike, or continue any agenda item. When more information is needed to act on an item, the Council may refer the matter to Staff. The Council may also refer items to standing committees of the Council for additional study. Under certain circumstances, items are deferred to a specific later date or stricken from the agenda entirely. Presentation by Erin Engelke of Calm Waters and Vice-Chair of the Jail Trust Authority’s Citizens Advisory Board 5. Report, discussion and possible action from Data Subcommittee to authorize a Request for Proposals (RFP) for an IT consultant to assist with advice on DataHub concept and business processes 6.
