Public Hearing Notice
The Committee of the Whole of the Council of the City of Philadelphia will hold a Public Hearing on Friday,
May 1, 2020, at 9:30 AM, in a remote manner using Microsoft® Teams. This remote session may be
viewed on Xfinity Channel 64 or http://phlcouncil.com/watch city council/, to hear testimony on the
following items:
200151 Resolution approving the appointment of Deborah Mahler to the Board of the
Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority.
200217 Resolution confirming the reappointment of Julia Danzy to the Board of Education of
the School District of Philadelphia.
200218 Resolution confirming the reappointment of Leticia Egea-Hinton to the Board of
Education of the School District of Philadelphia.
200219 Resolution confirming the reappointment of Mallory Fix-Lopez to the Board of
Education of the School District of Philadelphia.
200220 Resolution confirming the reappointment of Dr. Maria McColgan to the Board of
Education of the School District of Philadelphia.
200222 Resolution confirming the reappointment of Angela McIver to the Board of Education
of the School District of Philadelphia.
200223 Resolution confirming the reappointment of Joyce Wilkerson to the Board of
Education.
200224 Resolution confirming the reappointment of Lee Huang to the Board of Education of
the School District of Philadelphia.

Testimony may be submitted for the any of above listed legislative matters. Speakers interested in giving
testimony must call 610 613 8376 by 5 p.m. the day before the hearing and submit the following information:
• Full name
• Call-back telephone number where you can be reached
• Identify the bill number or resolution number or numbers that will be addressed
• State whether your comments are for, or against, each particular bill or resolution.
Speakers who submitted the above information within the required time frame will be telephoned during the
public hearing and invited to the remote hearing. They will be given additional instructions by the Committee
Chair once they are connected.
Immediately following the public hearing, a meeting of the Committee of the Whole, open to the public, will be
held to consider the action to be taken on the above listed items.
Copies of the foregoing items are available in the Office of the Chief Clerk of the Council, Room 402, City
Hall.
