City of Philadelphia Public Hearing Notice The Committee on Commerce & Economic Development of the Council of the City of Philadelphia will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, October 25, 2021, at 9:00 AM, in a remote manner using Microsoft® Teams. This remote hearing may be viewed on Xfinity Channel 64, Fios Channel 40 or http://phlcouncil.com/watch-city-council/, to hear testimony on the following items: 210632 An Ordinance amending Chapter 17-1600 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled “Economic Opportunity Plans,” by establishing new definitions and clarifying the manner in which credit is given for M/W/DSBE participation, all under certain terms and conditions. 210671 An Ordinance amending Title 9 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled “Regulation of Businesses, Trades and Professions”, by adding a new Chapter requiring certain businesses or professions provide disclosures regarding tangled titles; all under certain terms and conditions. 210643 Resolution authorizing the Committee on Commerce and Economic Development to hold hearings on the economic impact of the film industry in Philadelphia. Immediately following the public hearing, a meeting of the Committee on Commerce & Economic Development, open to the public, will be held to consider the action to be taken on the above listed items.
