City of Philadelphia Public Hearing Notice The Committee on Public Property and Public Works of the Council of the City of Philadelphia will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, October 1, 2019, at 10:00 AM, in Room 400, City Hall, to hear testimony on the following items: 190130 An Ordinance authorizing the Parks and Recreation Commissioner and the Procurement Commissioner to enter into a Concession Agreement with Loveluck LLC, for the design, construction, management and operation of a food and beverage concession in the Fairmount Park Welcome Center in John F. Kennedy Plaza, a/k/a Love Park, all under certain terms and conditions. 190560 An Ordinance authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia, to convey to Philadelphia Authority for Industrial Development all or a portion of a parcel or parcels of land in and about the area bounded by Frankford Avenue, East Butler Street, Wheatsheaf Lane and the railroad right-of-way of the former Philadelphia and Trenton Railroad, for further conveyance, under certain terms and conditions. 190602 An Ordinance amending Title 16 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled “Public Property,” to provide for the availability of a person trained in the use of defibrillators at all times during the use by permit or license of a City facility, under certain terms and conditions. 190606 An Ordinance amending Title 16 of The Philadelphia Code, entitled “Public Property,” by amending Chapter 16-400, entitled “Vacant and Surplus Properties,” Chapter 16-500, entitled “Councilmanic District Development Program,” and Chapter 16-700, entitled “Philadelphia Land Bank,” in order to establish uniform procedures for the disposition of property by the City and City-related agencies to whom the City conveys property, and to amend the provisions governing the Land Bank, all under certain terms and conditions. 190707 An Ordinance authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia, to acquire fee simple title or a lesser real estate interest to all or a portion of a parcel or parcels of land, together with the improvements thereon, in and about the area bounded by West Cumberland Street, North 8th Street, West York Street and North 9th Street, under certain terms and conditions. 190712 An Ordinance authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia, to convey to the Philadelphia Authority for Industrial Development, all or a portion of a parcel or parcels of land in and about the area bounded by Lombard Street, South Broad Street, South Street and 15th Street, for further conveyance, under certain terms and conditions. Immediately following the public hearing, a meeting of the Committee on Public Property and Public Works, open to the public, will be held to consider the action to be taken on the above listed items.
