City of Philadelphia Public Hearing Notice The Committee on Public Property and Public Works of the Council of the City of Philadelphia will hold a Public Hearing on Monday, November 18, 2019, at 10:00 AM, in Room 400, City Hall, to hear testimony on the following items: 190554 An Ordinance authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City, to acquire fee simple title or a lesser interest, by purchase, dedication, donation, condemnation, agreement in lieu of condemnation or otherwise, in parcels of land generally bounded by South Street, the Bulkhead Line of the Schuylkill River and Grays Ferry Avenue for public recreational purposes, under certain terms and conditions. 190710 An Ordinance authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia, to enter into a lease agreement with 2401 Walnut LP for use by the City of all or a portion of the premises located at 2401 Walnut Street, under certain terms and conditions. 190742 An Ordinance officially naming and designating the Cobbs Creek Recreation Center located at 280 Cobbs Creek Parkway, in the City of Philadelphia, as “Johnny Sample Recreation Center.” 190744 An Ordinance authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property and the Commissioner of Parks & Recreation, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia, to acquire from the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority fee simple title or a lesser interest in real estate to all or a portion of a parcel of land located in and about the area bounded by Montrose Street, Carpenter Street, South 17th Street and South 18th Street, with any improvements thereon, under certain terms and conditions. 190824 An Ordinance renaming and designating the property commonly referred to as Mill Creek Park, located at 4615 Fairmount Avenue, as the “Lucien E. Blackwell Park” in the City of Philadelphia. 190827 An Ordinance authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia, to convey to the Philadelphia Redevelopment Authority all or a portion of a parcel or parcels of land in and about the area bounded by West Thompson Street, North Orianna Street, West Girard Avenue and North 4th Street, for further conveyance, under certain terms and conditions. 190862 An Ordinance authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City of Philadelphia, to enter into a lease agreement with Mount Airy Bethesda Manor CDC, for use by the City of all or a portion of the premises located at 7800 Ogontz Avenue, under certain terms and conditions.
