Public Hearing Notice
The Committee on Public Property and Public Works of the Council of the City of Philadelphia will hold a
Public Hearing on Friday, May 28, 2021, at 9:00 AM, in a remote manner using Microsoft® Teams.
This remote hearing may be viewed on Xfinity Channel 64, Fios Channel 40 or
http://phlcouncil.com/watch-city-council/, to hear testimony on the following items:
200662 An Ordinance authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City
of Philadelphia, to enter into a sublease agreement with the Philadelphia Municipal
Authority, for use by the City, of a portion of the premises located at 11311 Roosevelt
Boulevard, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, all under certain terms and conditions.
200677 An Ordinance authorizing the Department of Public Property to acquire, on behalf of
the City, an easement in the area bounded by Chestnut Street, 12th Street, Market
Street, and 11th Street, all under certain terms and conditions.
210076 An Ordinance authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City,
to convey to the Philadelphia Authority for Industrial Development a parcel of land
situate at 2401 Chestnut Street, for further conveyance, and authorizing the plotting
upon City Plan No. 307 a right-of-way for bridge repair, maintenance and/or
reconstruction purposes and for stormwater sewer and drainage purposes, all under
certain terms and conditions.
210248 An Ordinance authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City
of Philadelphia, to enter into a lease agreement with St. Agnes MOB, LLC, for use by
the City, of a portion of the premises located at 1930 South Broad Street, Philadelphia,
Pennsylvania, all under certain terms and conditions.
210281 An Ordinance authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City
of Philadelphia, to acquire fee simple title or a lesser real estate interest from
Pennsylvania Department of Transportation to all or a portion of a parcel or parcels of
land, bordered by Richmond Street to the north/northwest, Wheatsheaf to the
east/northeast, I-95 to the west and the Northeast Treatment Plant to the
south/southeast for water treatment or supply purposes or other purposes, under
certain terms and conditions.
210282 An Ordinance authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City,
to acquire fee simple title, or a lesser interest in real estate, by purchase, dedication,
donation, condemnation, agreement in lieu of condemnation, or otherwise, in parcels of
land along the Delaware River and the Tacony-Holmesburg section of the Delaware
River Trail, under certain terms and conditions.

210293 An Ordinance authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City
of Philadelphia, to enter into a sublease agreement with Chestnut Street Realty Limited
Partnership, LP, for use by the City, of a portion of the premises located at 1327-29
Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, all under certain terms and conditions.
210418 An Ordinance authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City
of Philadelphia, to convey to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, all or a portion of a
parcel or parcels of land in and about the area bounded by Kingston Street, I-95, East
Venango Street and Bath Street, under certain terms and conditions.
210419 An Ordinance authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City
of Philadelphia, to grant to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, a
temporary construction easement on a portion of the parcel or parcels of land in and
about the area bounded by Richmond Street, East Butler Street, I-95 and Castor
Avenue, commonly known as 3721 Richmond Street, under certain terms and
conditions.
210424 An Ordinance authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City
of Philadelphia, to enter into a sublease agreement with The Philadelphia Authority for
Industrial Development, for use by the City, of a portion of the premises located at
1101 Market Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by the City, all under certain terms and
conditions.
210444 An Ordinance authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City,
to acquire fee simple title, or a lesser interest in real estate, by purchase, dedication,
donation, condemnation, agreement in lieu of condemnation, or otherwise, in parcels of
land connecting Tacony Street to the Frankford Arsenal Boat Launch, for public
recreational purposes, under certain terms and conditions.
210450 An Ordinance authorizing the Commissioner of Public Property, on behalf of the City
of Philadelphia, to enter into an amendment to a lease agreement with Southeastern
Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (“SEPTA”), for use by the City, of a portion of
the premises located at 1234 Market Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by the City, all
under certain terms and conditions.

Speakers who submitted the above information within the required time frame will be telephoned during the
public hearing and invited to the remote hearing. They will be given additional instructions by the Committee
Chair once they are connected.
Immediately following the public hearing, a meeting of the Committee on Public Property and Public Works,
open to the public, will be held to consider the action to be taken on the above listed items.
