City of Philadelphia Public Hearing Notice The Special Committee on Child Separation In Philadelphia of the Council of the City of Philadelphia will hold a Public Hearing on Friday, January 29, 2021, at 1:00 PM, in a remote manner using Microsoft® Teams. This remote hearing may be viewed on Xfinity Channel 64, Fios Channel 40 or http://phlcouncil.com/watch-city-council/, to hear testimony on the following items: 190798 Resolution authorizing the establishment of a “Special Committee on Child Separation In Philadelphia” to review child separation in Philadelphia’s child welfare system and develop recommendations to ensure compliance with State Child Protective Services Law to protect children and due process rights of families and prevent the unnecessary break-up of families.
