City of Philadelphia Public Hearing Notice The Special Committee on Poverty Reduction and Prevention of the Council of the City of Philadelphia will hold a Public Hearing on Thursday, October 10, 2019, at 3:00 PM, in Room 400, City Hall, to hear testimony on the following items: 190239 Resolution authorizing the creation of a “Special Committee on Poverty Reduction and Prevention” to hold hearings to propose and implement actionable policies and programs that substantively prevent and alleviate poverty in every Philadelphia neighborhood. Immediately following the public hearing, a meeting of the Special Committee on Poverty Reduction and Prevention, open to the public, will be held to consider the action to be taken on the above listed items.
