2015-2110 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of
Pittsburgh does hereby commend and celebrate the role that our LGBT residents
have have played in enriching the culture and history of the City of Pittsburgh, and
does hereby declare the month of October, 2015 to be LGBT History Month in
the City of Pittsburgh.

2015-2111 NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of
Pittsburgh does hereby recognize and commend STANDING FIRM for its
commitment to addressing the issues of partner violence in the workplace and along
with a large network of domestic violence service providers in the region to spreading
awareness of the devastating effects of domestic violence . The Council congratulates
STANDING FIRM on its 2015 Awards Luncheon and its choice of deserving
awardees; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does
hereby declare October 2015, to be “DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AWARNESS
MONTH” in the City of Pittsburgh.

Pittsburgh commends and celebrates the efforts of the Homeless Children’s Education
Fund and joins them in commemorating Homeless Children’s Awareness Week;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the
City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare October 18th to 25th, 2015 to be Homeless
Children’s Awareness Week in the City of Pittsburgh.

dynamics of Pittsburgh’s history.

in the region’s workforce and congratulates the staff of EmployAble for celebrating
National Disability Employment Awareness Month; and,

hereby declare Tuesday, October 13, 2015, to be “ EMPLOYABLE DAY ” in the
City of Pittsburgh.

hereby declare October 15, 2015 as, “Youth Literature Day” in the City of
Pittsburgh.

hereby declare Saturday, October 17th, 2015 to be "Croatian National Hall Javor
Day" in the City of Pittsburgh.

2015-2101 Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Office of Management and
Budget to enter into a professional services agreement to develop a 40-Year Facilities
Optimization Plan and Investment Strategy for the City of Pittsburgh at a cost not to
exceed $1,000,000.00.

2015-2102 Resolution further amending Resolution 652 of 2010, as amended, entitled “Providing

First Vehicle will furnish all work and services needed to manage and maintain the
City's Vehicle Fleet," by extending the contract for one (1) year and authorizing

Ninety-Four Thousand, Three Hundred Seventy-Eight Dollars ($8,694,378).
