2016-0024 NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh
does hereby recognize Alpha Alpha Omega’s for its dedication to our community and
commitment to volunteerism; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does
hereby proclaim Friday, January 15, 2016 as “Alpha Alpha Omega Day” in the City
of Pittsburgh.

A motion was made that this matter be Adopted. The motion carried.
2016-0025 NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of
Pittsburgh commends the Central Catholic Vikings for being the first WPIAL team
to win four PIAA Class AAAA championships, and recognizes the tireless dedication,
conviction and hard work that the football team and its coaching staff put into this
impressive accomplishment; and, .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does
hereby declare Tuesday, January 12, 2016 to be “CENTRAL CATHOLIC
VIKING FOOTBALL DAY ” in the City of Pittsburgh.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does
hereby declare Saturday, January 9, 2016, to be “ MASCOT SKATE DAY ” in the
City of Pittsburgh.

2016-0008 Resolution authorizing a cooperation agreement or agreements, providing for the
transfer of funds not to exceed Six Million Six Hundred Thousand Dollars
($6,600,000.00) dollars to the City of Pittsburgh Equipment Leasing Authority for the
purchase of vehicles, heavy equipment and vehicle accessories for use by City of
Pittsburgh Departments and Authorities.

COUNCILWOMAN DEBORAH L. GROSS PRESENTS:
2016-0009 Ordinance accepting a new street name, CARTER COURT in the Eighth Ward of the
City of Pittsburgh as per recommendation by the City of Pittsburgh Addressing
Committee (CPAC). The following street was approved by CPAC in October 2015.
The name listed in this ordinance shall be made official in accordance with the
Pittsburgh Code, Title Four, Public Places and Property, Chapter 420 Uniform Street
Naming and Addressing.

provide legal services and expert advice related to litigation by increasing the total
cost from Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) to One Hundred Thousand Dollars
($100,000.00).

PAYGO for the Choice Neighborhoods project and to transfer the funds needed.

Conservancy, and D’Appolonia, Engineering Division Of Ground Technologies, Inc.
to document the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy’s provision of certain funding for
consulting services relating to the Heth’s Run Restoration Project in Highland Park.
