Pittsburgh does hereby recognize Ms. Judith DeVito and Ms. Florence DeGregorio
for their outstanding, longtime commitment to serving the people of Pittsburgh; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does
hereby declare January 20, 2016 to be “Ms. Florence DeGregorio Day” in the City
of Pittsburgh; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does
hereby declare January 21, 2016 to be “Ms. Judith DeVito Day” in the City of

our communities; and for proving that, when given equal opportunities to achieve, girls
can successfully reach their goals, and inspire others to pursue theirs; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does
hereby declare January 19, 2016 to be “The Ellis School Anniversary Day” in the
City of Pittsburgh.

COUNCILWOMAN DEBORAH L. GROSS PRESENTS:
2016-0032 Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of City Planning of the City of
Pittsburgh to apply for a grant, execute relevant agreements with the Department of
Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR), to receive fifty thousand dollars
($50,000) in relevant grant funds, and to hire a consultant for the amount not to
exceed one-hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) in the event the grant is awarded to
the City of Pittsburgh. The grant would provide fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) and
the 2011 Comprehensive Plan Account would provide the remaining fifty thousand
dollars ($50,000).
