2016-0257 NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of
Pittsburgh does hereby recognize Scott Dobson, Tim Holoman, and Mark Johnston
for their decades of service to the Pittsburgh region and their commitment to providing
city residents with high quality news media, and;
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh
does hereby declare March 29, 2016 to be “WPXI Class of 2016 Day” in the City
of Pittsburgh.

2016-0258 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of
Pittsburgh hereby asks for all Pittsburghers to help raise the public awareness of
autism and the many issues surrounding the disorder, and does hereby declare April,
2016 to be “Autism Awareness Month” in the City of Pittsburgh.

the City of Pittsburgh.

Sports Hall of Fame Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.

payment of the costs thereof", by transferring $5,500 to Observatory Hill-

District 1 Neighborhood Needs. Total cost of all projects is not to exceed
$437,779.53.

COUNCILMAN R. DANIEL LAVELLE PRESENTS:
2016-0252 Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Bureau of Police on behalf of the City of
Pittsburgh to enter into a Professional Services Agreement or Agreements with
WhatsaMather Consulting, LLC to provide leadership training and related consulting
services. The overall cost of said agreement(s) shall not exceed the sum of
One-Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars and No Cents ($150,000.00), which is to be
funded from a Heinz Foundation grant in the amount of $100,000 (as authorized by
Resolution No. 103 of 2016) and a JAG grant in the amount of $50,000 (as
authorized by Resolution No. 524 of 2015).

thousand ($10,000) dollars for this stated purpose.

2016-0255 Resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute relevant agreements to receive grant
funding to support the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Highway
Administration “Beyond Traffic: The Smart City Challenge” Phase 1 Award and
further providing for an agreement and expenditures not to exceed ONE HUNDRED
THOUSAND ($100,000.00) dollars for this stated purpose. This concept
development grant is on a 7 stage milestone payment plan.
