PROCLAMATIONS 2016-0519 NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize the FISA Foundation for their visionary leadership to end domestic and sexual violence and, along with the Heinz Endowments and the United Way, have engaged corporate, government, sports and nonprofit partners to take the Father’s Day Pledge and to take action in meaningful and measurable ways; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Friday, June 17, 2016, to be “FATHER’S DAY PLEDGE DAY” in the City of Pittsburgh. The motion carried. 2016-0521 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby commend and celebrate Ed Gergerich for being a true champion of clean and beautiful neighborhoods; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare June 14th, 2016 to be “Ed Gergerich Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
