The motion carried. 2017-2266 Resolution amending Resolution number 1028 of 1994, entitled “Authorizing and directing the City Controller to create a special trust fund, to be designated as the Workers' Compensation Commutation Trust Fund (WCCTF), Index Code 254938, for the deposit of monies received from the state of Pennsylvania for favorable decisions received in litigation (Supersedeas) and monies received when the City is successful in a lawsuit against a negligent third party (Subrogation). Expenditures from this trust will consist of payments to individuals for settlement of their workers' compensation claim, surveillance, vocational rehabilitation, outplacement and other miscellaneous services related to Workers' Compensation management as approved by the Director of Finance.” in order to allow transfers from the WCCTF to the Workers Compensation VEBA Account.
