BURGESS PRESENTS: 2018-0428 Resolution authorizing, pursuant to Ch. 210 (“Acceptance of Gifts to City”) of the City Code, the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works to accept a donation from BNY Mellon of fully depreciated office cubicle systems and free-standing office furniture totaling an estimated Fifty Seven Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($57,200), which shall be used for the purpose of redesigning office spaces of the City’s Department of Law. Read and referred to the Committee on Finance and Law COUNCILMAN ANTHONY COGHILL PRESENTS: 2018-0429 Resolution providing for an Agreement or Agreements with the Pittsburgh Board of Public Education or another vendor chosen through the City bid process for the purpose of providing meals in connection with the 2018-2019 Food Service Program in the Department of Parks and Recreation. The total cost shall not exceed Eight Hundred, Fifty Thousand Dollars ($850,000.00). Said agreement or agreement involves the matching of funds and shall be a cost to the City not to exceed SIXTY-SEVEN THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED TWENTY DOLLARS and NO CENTS ($67,720) TWENTY THOUSAND and FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS and NO CENTS ($20,400.00). The motion carried. 2018-0382 Resolution authorizing the Mayor and Director of the Department of Mobility and Infrastructure to apply for grant funding from the PA Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) Community Conservation Partnerships Program (C2P2) to provide funding for the West End Trolley Trail Project that will repurpose an old trolley right-of-way in the underserved West End section of our City. In the event the grant is awarded, this resolution provides for an agreement and expenditures not to exceed SIX HUNDRED EIGHT THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED NINETY-NINE ($608,799.00) dollars for this stated purpose.
