The motion carried. 2018-0428 Resolution authorizing, pursuant to Ch. 210 (“Acceptance of Gifts to City”) of the City Code, the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works to accept a donation from BNY Mellon of fully depreciated office cubicle systems and free-standing office furniture totaling an estimated Fifty Seven Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($57,200), which shall be used for the purpose of redesigning office spaces of the City’s Department of Law. Said agreement or agreement involves the matching of funds and shall be a cost to the City not to exceed SIXTY-SEVEN THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED TWENTY DOLLARS and NO CENTS ($67,720) TWENTY THOUSAND and FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS and NO CENTS ($20,400.00). In the event the grant is awarded, this resolution provides for an agreement and expenditures not to exceed FIVE HUNDRED THOUSAND ($500,000.00) dollars for this stated purpose.
