Pittsburgh, promoting peace, cultural understanding, and non-violence, and helping to
build a Pittsburgh for all; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does
hereby declare October 2, 2018 to be “Mahatma Gandhi Day and International

2018-0908 Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of Public Safety, on the behalf of
the City of Pittsburgh, to enter into a grant agreement with the Pennsylvania Auto
Theft Prevention Authority (ATPA), for the purpose of receiving grant funds in the
amount of five hundred twenty-one thousand dollars ($521,000.00) that will be used
to establish, coordinate and fund activities to prevent, combat and reduce auto theft.
2018-0909 Ordinance amending the City Code at Title Eight, Fire Prevention, Chapter 801,
Adoption, Enforcement, and Amendments, by repealing Chapter 801 in its entirety
and replacing it with a new Chapter 801.
COUNCILMAN COREY O'CONNOR PRESENTS:
2018-0910 Resolution amending Resolution No. 485, effective July 19, 2018, entitled “Providing
for the execution of a Cooperation Agreement or Agreements with the Urban
