BURGESS PRESENTS: 2019-2421 Ordinance amending and supplementing the Pittsburgh Code of Ordinances at Title Two: Fiscal, Article IX: Property Taxes, Chapter 265: Exemptions for Residential Improvements, Sections 265.04 and 265.09, and Chapter 267: Exemptions for Industrial and Commercial Improvements, Sections 267.03 and 267.07 to change the effective date to April 1, 2020. SPONSOR /S: COUNCIL MEMBER BURGESS A motion was made that this matter be Waived under Rule 8. The motion carried. Read and referred to the Committee on Finance and Law COUNCILMAN BRUCE A. KRAUS PRESENTS: 2019-2418 Ordinance amending the Pittsburgh Code, Title Nine, Zoning, Article I, Section 902.03 Zoning Map, by changing from LNC, Local Neighborhood Commercial, to P, Parks, property with frontage on East Carson St., S 12th St., and Roland Way, identified as Block 3-H, Lot 15 in the Allegheny County Block and Lot System, 17th Ward. (Send for Report & Recommendation) (Needs to be held for a Public Hearing) SPONSOR /S: COUNCIL MEMBER KRAUS A motion was made that this matter be Waived under Rule 8. The motion carried. A motion was made that this matter be Read, Received and Filed. The motion carried. 2019-2420 Communication from Mary Conturo, Executive Director of the Sports & Exhibition Authority, submitting the Position and Salary Report as of December 16, 2019. A motion was made that this matter be Read, Received and Filed. The motion carried. UNFINISHED BUSINESS REPORTS OF COMMITTEE - FINAL ACTION COUNCILMAN REVEREND RICKY V. BURGESS PRESENTS COMMITTEE ON FINANCE AND LAW 2019-2417 Report of the Committee on Finance and Law for December 18, 2019 with an Affirmative Recommendation. A motion was made that this matter be Read, Received and Filed. The motion carried. 2019-2281 Resolution authorizing the fee schedule for 2020 pursuant to Chapter 170 of the City Code. A motion was made that this matter be Passed Finally. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 7 - Council Member Burgess, Council Member Coghill, Council Member Harris, Council Member Kraus, Council Member Lavelle, Council Member O'Connor, and Council Member Kail-Smith No: 0 Abstain: 0 Absent: 2 - Council Member Gross, and Council Member Strassburger 2019-2356 Resolution authorizing eighty-two (82) Open-End Professional Services Agreements with multiple vendors to provide professional services in twelve (12) categories of work on an on-call basis as required related to the assessment, design, construction, and maintenance of the City’s infrastructure, buildings, and lands as needed by the various Departments of the City of Pittsburgh, each Agreement being at an amount not-to-exceed two million and five hundred thousand dollars ($2,500,000) annually for a two (2) year term with up to two additional one year options, and providing for funding of the costs thereof. A motion was made that this matter be Passed Finally. A motion was made that this matter be Passed Finally.
