RUDIAK, CHAIR NEW PAPERS 2015-1182 Resolution designating Banks and Lending Institutions to act as Depositories for the year 2015 in accordance with the Pittsburgh Code, Title Two, Fiscal, Article III, Depositories. A motion was made that this matter be Affirmatively Recommended. The motion carried by a unanimous vote. INVOICES - MOTION TO APPROVE INTRA DEPARTMENTAL- TRANSFERS - NONE PUBLIC SAFETY SERVICES COMMITTEE, MR. LAVELLE, CHAIR SUPPLEMENTAL - NEW PAPERS 2015-1200 Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Safety, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, to enter into a professional services agreement or agreements with the Center for Emergency Medicine of Western Pennsylvania for the provision of medical direction services at a cost of Ten Dollars and No Cents ($10) per year to the City. Said agreement shall commence on January 1, 2015 and shall automatically renew for additional one (1) year terms on January 1, 2016 and January 1, 2017. NEW PAPERS City of Pittsburgh Page 1 Printed on 1/23/2015 Standing Committee Meeting Minutes - Final January 21, 2015 2015-1183 Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Safety to enter into an agreement or agreements with a vendor to provide licensed veterinary services to the City’s Bureau of Animal Care & Control, including but not limited to the consistent supply and proper disposal of all drugs, needles, and syringes necessary for the humane euthanasia of wild animals and providing for the cost thereof. It is anticipated that the contractor will be required to spend approximately ten (10) hours per month with regard to these services, at an overall cost not to exceed $100,454.48, calculated at the rate of $50,227.24 per year. A motion was made that this matter be Affirmatively Recommended. The motion carried by a unanimous vote. PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE, MRS. KAIL-SMITH, CHAIR NEW PAPERS 2015-1184 Resolution vacating Antler Way between South Highland Avenue and Sheridan Square in the 8th Ward, 9th Council District of the City of Pittsburgh. A motion was made that this matter be Affirmatively Recommended. The motion carried by a unanimous vote. LAND USE AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE, MS. GROSS, CHAIR NEW PAPERS 2015-1186 Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of City Planning to enter into an agreement or agreements with members of the Zoning Board of Adjustment, for payment of services for duties related to any and all activities of the Zoning Board of the City of Pittsburgh. Cost not to exceed $39,000. A motion was made that this matter be Affirmatively Recommended. The motion carried by a unanimous vote. Motion to waive the Rules of Council to place Bill 2014-0708 on the Agenda. Motion carried by voice vote. 2014-0708 Ordinance amending the Pittsburgh Code, Title Nine, Zoning Code, Article IV, Planning Districts, Chapter 909.01, SP, Specifically Planned District, is hereby amended by making various changes in Sections 909.01.B and 909.01.D.1. Read and referredto the Committee on Land Use and Economic Development PERFORMANCE AND ASSET MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE, MRS. HARRIS, CHAIR NEW PAPERS 2015-1187 Resolution authorizing the Mayor and Chief of Innovation and Performance to enter into a Fellowship Participation Agreement with Student Conservation Association, Inc., cost not to exceed $13,000. A motion was made that this matter be Affirmatively Recommended. The motion carried by a unanimous vote. 2015-1188 Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a grant agreement with the Heinz Endowments to receive $50,000 in funding to support (1) A Lean Six Sigma certified trainer; (2) New, innovative cost saving and waste reduction policies and (3) A pilot group of City Employees that will complete the training and start to identify cost savings and performance improvements. A motion was made that this matter be Affirmatively Recommended. The motion carried by a unanimous vote. 2015-1189 Resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a grant agreement with the Richard King Mellon Foundation to receive $400,000 in funding for three years support to create a Regional Data Resource Center to serve as a portal for interactive data sharing between government agencies, departments, and other nonprofit and public agencies. A motion was made that this matter be Affirmatively Recommended. The motion carried by a unanimous vote. INTERGOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, MR. GILMAN, CHAIR HEARINGS COMMITTEE, MR.
