Sponsors: Ms. Gross A motion was made that this matter be Affirmatively Recommended. The motion carried 2015-1527 Resolution amending Resolution No. 867, effective December 22, 2014, entitled “Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of Finance to enter into an Agreement or Agreements with Penn Credit Corporation for the purpose of performing collection of delinquent taxes, fines, penalties and interest for the City of Pittsburgh. Body” so as to attach the proper fee schedule as an exhibit and to allow for any changes in the fee schedule to be filed with the City Clerk. LAVELLE, CHAIR DEFERRED PAPERS 2015-1469 Ordinance supplementing the Pittsburgh Code, Title 10-Building Code-to require safety and security training for security officer and other building service employees, to require adequate staffing over buildings to ensure the safety and security of occupants and property, to require security businesses to meet certain professional standards and obtain a business license from the City, and to amend the procurement code to require compliance with these new training and licensing provisions. A motion was made that this matter be Affirmatively Recommended. The motion carried 2015-1529 Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Works to enter into an Agreement with the Western Pennsylvania Conservancy to maintain a raised flower bed at the Faith Gallo Memorial Garden located at the Gateway island that is bounded by Stanwix Street, Penn Avenue and Liberty Avenue in the City of Pittsburgh. A motion was made that this matter be Affirmatively Recommended. The motion carried LAND USE AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMITTEE, MS. GROSS, CHAIR NEW PAPERS 2015-1521 Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Departments of Public Works, Finance, and/or City Planning to enter into a revocable License Agreement or Agreements with Brighton Heights Citizens Federation to provide green-space improvements for a designated vacant City lot. A motion was made that this matter be Affirmatively Recommended. The motion carried 2015-1522 Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Departments of Public Works, Finance, and/or City Planning to enter into a revocable License Agreement or Agreements with Fineview Citizens Council to provide green-space improvements for a designated vacant City lot.
