LAVELLE, CHAIR DEFERRED PAPERS 2015-1469 An ordinance supplementing the Pittsburgh Code, Title 8-Fire Prevention Code-Chapter 4-Emergency Management and Preparedness to add a new Section 410, “Safe and Security Building Act,” to prohibit security officers and other building service workers from working in certain covered properties within the City of Pittsburgh without adequate safety and security training. Moorhead Federal Building at Grant Street and 1000 Liberty Avenue per Exhibit A, in the 2nd Ward, 6th Council District of the City of Pittsburgh. The motion carried 2015-1569 Resolution providing for a Contract or Contracts, or the use of existing Contracts, an Agreement or Agreements, or the use of existing Agreements, providing for repairs, maintenance, improvements, emergencies and/or the purchase of materials, equipment and supplies in connection with the installation of Audibles & Traffic Signals; and providing for the payment of the costs thereof, not to exceed $30,000. GROSS, CHAIR SUPPLEMENTAL 2015-1591 Resolution approving a Conditional Use Application under the Pittsburgh Code, Title Nine, Zoning, Article V Chapter 911 Section 911.04.A.64 to the Central Catholic High School, Inc., property owner, for authorization to expand the Elementary/Secondary School (General) use at 4750 5th Avenue, zoned “RM-H” Residential Multi-Family, High Density District, 14th Ward, Council District No. 8 A motion was made that this matter be Held for Public Hearing to the Committee on Hearings . The motion carried.
