LAVELLE, CHAIR DEFERRED PAPERS 2015-1469 An ordinance supplementing the Pittsburgh Code, Title 8-Fire Prevention Code-Chapter 4-Emergency Management and Preparedness to add a new Section 410, “Safe and Security Building Act,” to prohibit security officers and other building service workers from working in certain covered properties within the City of Pittsburgh without adequate safety and security training. The motion carried 2015-1569 Resolution providing for a Contract or Contracts, or the use of existing Contracts, an Agreement or Agreements, or the use of existing Agreements, providing for repairs, maintenance, improvements, emergencies and/or the purchase of materials, equipment and supplies in connection with the installation of Audibles & Traffic Signals; and providing for the payment of the costs thereof, not to exceed $30,000. The motion carried 2015-1570 Resolution providing for an Agreement or Agreements or for the use of existing Agreements, providing for a Contract or Contracts or for the use of existing Contracts, and providing for design, repairs, maintenance, improvements, emergencies and/or the purchase of materials and supplies in connection with the demolition and replacement of the Greenfield Avenue Bridge; including Construction Management Services; providing for a Reimbursement Agreement or Agreements with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Department of Transportation; and providing for the payment of the costs thereof, not to exceed $19,000,000. A motion was made that this matter be Affirmatively Recommended. The motion carried 2015-1571 Resolution providing for an Agreement or Agreements, or the use of existing Agreements; providing for a Contract or Contracts, or the use of existing Contracts; providing for repairs, maintenance, improvements, emergencies and/or the purchase of materials, equipment and supplies in connection with the Bridge Repairs program; and further providing for the payment of the cost thereof, not to exceed $523,116.47. GROSS, CHAIR SUPPLEMENTAL 2015-1591 Resolution approving a Conditional Use Application under the Pittsburgh Code, Title Nine, Zoning, Article V Chapter 911 Section 911.04.A.64 to the Central Catholic High School, Inc., property owner, for authorization to expand the Elementary/Secondary School (General) use at 4750 5th Avenue, zoned “RM-H” Residential Multi-Family, High Density District, 14th Ward, Council District No. 8 A motion was made that this matter be Held for Public Hearing to the Committee on Hearings . CABLECAST 2015-1592 Ordinance amending the Pittsburgh Code, Title Nine, Zoning, Article I, Section 902.03 Zoning Map, by changing from EMI, Educational/Medical Institution District, to RM-H, Residential Multi-Unit, High Density District, the remainder of the property identified as Block Number 52-J, lot number 264 in the Allegheny County Block and Lot System. CABLECAST NEW PAPERS 2015-1562 Ordinance amending and supplementing the Pittsburgh Code, Title Nine, Zoning Code, Article V, Use Table, Section 911.02, and Use Regulations, Section 911.04.A.2 to expand the allowable zoning districts for all Agricultural Use Zoning Classification categories, and to amend and add additional standards and procedures; amending and supplementing Chapter 912, Accessory Uses and Structures, by amending the subsection for Urban Agriculture; and supplementing Chapter 926, Definitions, to supplement standards for Urban Agriculture accessory uses.
