RUDIAK, CHAIR DEFERRED PAPERS 2015-1825 Ordinance supplementing the Pittsburgh Code, Title VI, Article 1, to add a new Section 626, "Paid Sick Days Act," to improve the public health by granting Paid Sick Time to employees in the city of Pittsburgh. (INTERIM NOTE: The legislation was passed by City Council on August 3rd, 2015 and Signed by the Mayor on August 13, 2015. In accordance with Section 15 contained herein, “this Ordinance shall become effective on the 90th calendar day following the posting of the regulations and notice information for employers by the Agency as per Section 626.06 of this Ordinance.” Posting and notification dates to be determined.
