The motion carried 2015-1951 Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of Finance to enter, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, into a lease agreement or agreements with YouthPlaces (a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation) in order that it may utilize the City of Pittsburgh’s Ream Recreation Center, located at 321 Merrimac St., Pittsburgh, PA 15211, for after-school youth recreational, social, and educational programming. Said agreement(s) shall be for a term of 10 years, commencing retroactively to September 2013 and lasting until September 2023. Utility costs of Gas $75/month & Electric $100/month. A motion was made that this matter be Affirmatively Recommended. The motion carried by the following vote: NEW PAPERS 2015-1936 Ordinance accepting a new street names in the City of Pittsburgh as per recommendation by the City of Pittsburgh Addressing Committee (CPAC). The following streets were approved by CPAC in June 2015: LOGAN STREET and FULLERTON STREET, between Centre Avenue and Bedford Avenue, in the 3rd Ward. The names listed in this ordinance shall be made official in accordance with the Pittsburgh Code, Title Four, Public Places and Property, Chapter 420 Uniform Street Naming and Addressing. The motion carried PERFORMANCE AND ASSET MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE, MRS. HARRIS, CHAIR NEW PAPERS 2015-1938 Resolution authorizing the Director of Finance and the Director of the Department of Innovation and Performance to enter into a contract or agreement, or use of existing contract or agreement with a vendor for the purpose of continuing to operate an Open Government Financial System for years 2015 and 2016 and ending July 31, 2017. This contract may be extended for one additional year upon mutual agreement of the parties. Total cost for 2015 and 2016 $40,000. A motion was made that this matter be Affirmatively Recommended. The motion carried INTERGOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS COMMITTEE, MR. GILMAN, CHAIR NEW PAPERS 2015-1935 Resolution Authorizing the Mayor and the Directors of the Departments of Finance and Public Works to enter into a Lease Agreement with the Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority and the Borough of Aspinwall for a portion of Lot/Block 171-B-1-0-2 for use by the Borough as a free public parking lot, road, and path for the public to access adjacent Aspinwall Riverfront Park. Rent shall be one dollar ($1.00) per year and shall include Borough maintenance responsibilities for the Premises. A motion was made that this matter be Affirmatively Recommended.
