RECOMMITTED PAPERS
2015-1976 Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Finance to
enter into an agreement with PMAM Corporation for the purpose of performing
alarm permitting, tracking, and billing services for the City of Pittsburgh. The City will
incur no initial investment costs. PMAM will retain a fee as a percentage of the
revenue collected in the following amounts: 12% of funds collected up to $550,000;
18% of funds between $550,000 and $750,000; and 21% of funds collected above
$750,000. The City does not currently issue or collect any revenue from false alarm
fines.
A motion was made that this matter be Affirmatively Recommended. The

their attorneys, Swensen & Perer, releasing and discharging the City of Pittsburgh
from all claims arising from an August 19, 2011, incident.
A motion was made that this matter be Affirmatively Recommended. The

2015-1945 Resolution authorizing issuance of a warrant in the amount of $3,325.00, in favor of
Anthony Alessio, 507 Morrow Avenue, Carnegie, PA 15106, for property damage
to his parked vehicle from a City EMS Medic Unit on March 27, 2015 on E. Carson
Street.
A motion was made that this matter be Affirmatively Recommended. The

2015-1946 Resolution authorizing issuance of two (2) warrants as follows: one warrant in the
amount of $3,819.81, in favor of Derrick Coleman, 2305 Holyoke Street, Pittsburgh,
PA 15214, in settlement of his claim for property damage to his parked vehicle from
a City ES refuse vehicle on May 30, 2015 on Rodenbaugh Avenue and one warrant
in the amount of $1,763.00 in favor of Treasurer, City of Pittsburgh, in satisfaction of
the outstanding wage tax lien of Derrick Coleman for tax year 2012.
A motion was made that this matter be Affirmatively Recommended. The
motion carried
2015-1975 Resolution authorizing the Mayor, City Solicitor and the Director of the Office of
Management and Budget to enter into a Professional Services Agreement with
Campbell, Durrant, Beatty, Palombo and Miller, P.C. in the amount of Fifty Thousand
Dollars ($50,000.00) to provide legal services and expert advice related to litigation.
A motion was made that this matter be Affirmatively Recommended. The

Licensing, by adding Article X Rental of Residential Housing, Chapter 781 Residential
Housing Rental Permit Program to provide for the registration of rental housing
located within the City of Pittsburgh and to provide penalties for violation.

2014-0915 Ordinance amending the Pittsburgh Code, Title 4 - Public Places and Property,
Article I, Public Rights -of -Way, CHAPTER 416: - OBSTRUCTIONS, by adding a
new section at 416.05 (a) et seq. requiring no less than a ten (10) day notice of a
pending major street obstruction permit to be provided to the City Council; written
notice to businesses and or residents within the impacted area; and providing for a
waiver of said requirements in the event of an emergency.

2015-1824 Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Works to enter into an agreement(s) with
certain veteran organizations to waive or reduce certain fees per Section 416.02 of
the Pittsburgh Code to hang banners approved by the Director of Public Works at
specific approved locations in City of Pittsburgh.

2015-1999 Resolution authorizing the Mayor, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, to execute a
grant agreement with Neighborhood Allies for receipt of grant funds in the amount of
Two Thousand Dollars ($2,000.00.) to be used for the purpose of hiring a consultant
to facilitate a community engagement process related to My Brother’s Keeper, and
further authorizing all legitimate expenditures and/ or agreements required under the
terms of the grant agreement.

2015-2000 Ordinance accepting new street names in the Ninth Ward of the City of Pittsburgh as
per recommendation by the City of Pittsburgh Addressing Committee (CPAC). The
streets known as Honeycrisp Lane, Fuji Court, and Winesap Drive were approved
by CPAC in March 2014. The names listed in this ordinance shall be made official in
accordance with the Pittsburgh Code, Title Four, Public Places and Property,
Chapter 420 Uniform Street Naming and Addressing.
