RUDIAK, CHAIR NEW PAPERS 2016-0250 Resolution further amending and supplementing Resolution No. 855 of 2011, entitled “adopting and approving the 2012 Capital Budget and the 2012-2017 Capital Improvement Program” by transferring $5,500 to Observatory Hill- Surveillance Cameras, and $5,000 to Neu Kirche Contemporary Art Center, $5,500 to Delta Foundation, and $1,150 to Riverview Park within District 1 Neighborhood Needs. Total cost of all projects is not to exceed $437,779.53. SPONSORS: MRS. HARRIS A motion was made that this matter be AMENDED. The motion carried 2016-0255 Resolution authorizing the Mayor to execute relevant agreements to receive grant funding to support the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Highway Administration “Beyond Traffic: The Smart City Challenge” Phase 1 Award and further providing for an agreement and expenditures not to exceed ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND ($100,000.00) dollars for this stated purpose. This concept development grant is on a 7 stage milestone payment plan. A motion was made that this matter be Held in the Committee on Finance and Law , due back by 4/13/2016. The motion carried 2016-0256 Resolution transferring a total of $30,000 within the 2016 Operating Budget from Fuel to Parks & Recreation SPONSORS: MRS. LAVELLE, CHAIR NEW PAPERS 2016-0252 Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Bureau of Police on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh to enter into a Professional Services Agreement or Agreements with WhatsaMather Consulting, LLC to provide leadership training and related consulting services. The overall cost of said agreement(s) shall not exceed the sum of One-Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars and No Cents ($150,000.00), which is to be funded from a Heinz Foundation grant in the amount of $100,000 (as authorized by Resolution No. 103 of 2016) and a JAG grant in the amount of $50,000 (as authorized by Resolution No. 524 of 2015). A motion was made that this matter be Affirmatively Recommended. The motion carried 2016-0253 Resolution authorizing the Mayor and Chief of Police to execute relevant agreements to receive grant funding from the Pennsylvania Moose Association (PMA) for the purchase of body armor, body worn cameras and other equipment for the Police Bureau and further providing for an agreement and expenditures not to exceed ten thousand ($10,000) dollars for this stated purpose. A motion was made that this matter be Affirmatively Recommended. The motion carried PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE, MRS. KAIL-SMITH, CHAIR DEFERRED PAPERS 2016-0161 Ordinance amending the Pittsburgh Code, Title 4 - Public Places and Property, Article I - Public Rights of Way Chapter 416: Obstructions, by repealing Chapter 416 in its entirety and replacing it with new language.
