RUDIAK, CHAIR DEFERRED PAPERS 2017-1621 Resolution authorizing the issuance of 4 warrants in the total sum of Eighty-five Thousand Dollars ($85,000.00) in favor of the Department of Community & Economic Development, 400 North Street, 4th Floor, Harrisburg, PA 17120, in accordance with Article V of the Emergency Shelter Grant agreement no. C000051736 in full and final settlement of a claim made by the Department of Community & Economic Development. GROSS, CHAIR DEFERRED PAPERS 2017-1373 Resolution amending resolution number 772 of 2016, as amended, entitled “Resolution adopting and approving the 2017 Capital Budget and the 2017 Community Development Block Grant Program” so as to transfer one hundred thousand dollars from Community Based Organizations to the Southwest Pittsburgh CDC ($50,000) and the Mount Washington CDC ($50,000). O'CONNOR, CHAIR NEW PAPERS City of Pittsburgh Page 3 Printed on 12/11/2017 Standing Committee Meeting Minutes - Final June 28, 2017 2017-1643 Resolution authorizing the issuance of a warrant in favor of the Sheraton Hotel Station Square in an amount not to exceed Eight Thousand Seventy Four Dollars and Twenty One Cents ($8,074.21), for the Citiparks Seniors Program Volunteer Recognition Gala; and providing for the payment thereof. A motion was made that this matter be Affirmatively Recommended. The motion carried. 2017-1644 Resolution amending Resolution No. 752, effective December 13, 2016, previously amending Resolution No. 64, effective February 25, 2016, providing for an Agreement or Agreements with the Pittsburgh Board of Public Education for the purpose of providing meals in connection with the 2016-2018 Food Service Program in the Department of Parks and Recreation. The total cost thereof shall not exceed Seven Hundred, Fifty Thousand Dollars and No Cents ($750,000.00) One Million Five-Hundred Thousand Dollars and No Cents ($1,500,000.00). The purpose of this amendment is to extend the term of the program until May 31, 2018 and to change the applicable rates with regard to 2017 and 2018 food services. The motion carried. 2017-1645 Resolution authorizing the Mayor, Director of Parks and Recreation, Director of Public Works and Director of Finance to enter, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, into a Lease Agreement or Agreements with Morningside Partners LP and Congregate Management Services, Inc., for providing social and recreational services to seniors and other eligible participants/inter-generational programming at the (as yet unbuilt) Morningside Central Community Center to be located in Morningside Crossing that is tentatively scheduled to open in 2018. Cost to the City not to exceed TWO HUNDRED THIRTY-EIGHT THOUSAND SEVENTY-SIX DOLLARS and EIGHTY CENTS ($238,076.80) and shall be for a term of fifteen (15) years. The motion carried. 2017-1613 Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Safety to enter into voluntary agreements with private property owners for the purpose of replacing privately-owned lead water service lines when the Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority is replacing the lead water service line affecting such private lines and further authorizing the Mayor and the Director of Public Safety to enter into a Cooperation Agreement or Agreements with the Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority to cooperate in the removal of such privately-owned lines.
