KAIL-SMITH, CHAIR DEFERRED PAPERS 2016-0875 Resolution authorizing the City of Pittsburgh’s Department of Public Works to assume responsibility for the year round maintenance, repair, and future alterations constructed by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation as part of the East Ohio Street Improvement Project. The motion carried. 2017-2004 Resolution authorizing the Mayor, The Pittsburgh Shade Tree Commission and the Director of the Department of Public Works to enter into an agreement with Western Pennsylvania Conservancy for the purpose of providing funds for new tree plantings at the Crafton Trolley Trail, West End Overlook Park and new street trees in various neighborhoods throughout the City of Pittsburgh. GROSS, CHAIR DEFERRED PAPERS 2017-1373 Resolution amending resolution number 772 of 2016, as amended, entitled “Resolution adopting and approving the 2017 Capital Budget and the 2017 Community Development Block Grant Program” so as to transfer one hundred thousand dollars from Community Based Organizations to the Southwest Pittsburgh CDC ($50,000) and the Mount Washington CDC ($50,000).
