Upon motion duly made, seconded and adopted by roll call vote, the Village Board may convene into closed session to the extent the Village Board determines they are required to do so to avoid harming the Village’s competitive or bargaining position and strategies with regard to the Pleasant Prairie Professional Firefighter's Association Local 3785 collective bargaining agreement effective January 1, 2026, through December 31, 2028, pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes Section 19.85(1)(e) which allows closed session for deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session. 5. Following the closed session, if any, the Village Board may convene into open session to consider the final form of the collective bargaining agreement between the Village of Pleasant Prairie and the Pleasant Prairie Professional Firefighter's Association Local 3785 effective January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2028. 6.
