AGENDA SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING TOWN HALL MEETING JULY 20, 2026 6:00 P.M. – 7:30 P.M. COUNCIL CHAMBERS 911 NORTH 7TH AVENUE In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, it is the policy of the City of Pocatello to offer its public programs, services, and meetings in a manner that is readily accessible to everyone, including those with disabilities. Advance notification within this guideline will enable the City to make reasonable arrangements to ensure accessibility. 1: ROLL CALL. 2: BUDGET DEVELOPMENT PROCESS: City officials and City staff members will update the public on the budget development process. 3: COMMENTS FROM THE AUDIENCE: Council may wish to receive comments from the public regarding Pocatello City government-related topics. Audience members who would like to address the Council must adhere to the guidelines at the bottom of the agenda. The Council is not allowed to take any official action at this meeting on matters brought forward under this agenda item. Speakers must sign in prior to the start of the meeting in order to be recognized. Each speaker will be allotted a maximum of three (3) minutes. 4: ADJOURN 2 SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING TOWN HALL MEETING JULY 20, 2026 Public Comment Guidelines • Audience members shall state their name and city of residence. • Audience members must practice civility and courtesy and avoid profanity and disruptive behavior. City leaders have the right and the responsibility to maintain order and decorum during meetings. • Personal attacks will not be permitted. • Comments that pertain to activities or performance of individual City employees should be shared directly with the City's Human Resources Director (208-234- 6170), the City's Legal Department (208-234-6148) or with the Office of the Mayor (208-234-6163). • Time may be curtailed for those speakers whose comments do not comply with these guidelines.
