Introductions​ ​(5​ ​mins) ● Casey​ ​Prentice​ ​is​ ​the​ ​only​ ​member​ ​absent.​ ​Also​ ​in​ ​attendance:​ ​Tuck​ ​O’Brien (from​ ​City​ ​staff),​ ​three​ ​members​ ​of​ ​the​ ​public. II. City​ ​staff​ ​guest​ ​speaker​ ​-​ ​Tuck​ ​O’Brien,​ ​Planning​ ​Director​ ​(15​ ​minutes) ● Tuck​ ​O’Brien​ ​presented​ ​about​ ​his​ ​work​ ​in​ ​the​ ​City’s​ ​Planning​ ​Department ● Tuck​ ​discussed​ ​the​ ​Comp​ ​Plan​ ​and​ ​efforts​ ​to​ ​make​ ​the​ ​City​ ​more​ ​connected​ ​and to​ ​lift​ ​up​ ​voices​ ​of​ ​community​ ​members​ ​in​ ​the​ ​process ● Challenge:​ ​how​ ​do​ ​we​ ​keep​ ​continued​ ​engagement​ ​with​ ​the​ ​public? ● Recommended​ ​that​ ​we​ ​don’t​ ​duplicate​ ​efforts,​ ​and​ ​instead​ ​work​ ​collaboratively ● Commission​ ​members​ ​asked​ ​questions III. Discussion​ ​of​ ​bylaws​ ​and​ ​MOU​ ​(1​ ​hour) ● Commission​ ​discussed​ ​various​ ​aspects​ ​of​ ​the​ ​Conservancy’s​ ​bylaws​ ​and​ ​MOU ● Blue​ ​Sky​ ​Commission​ ​will​ ​consider​ ​final​ ​drafts​ ​of​ ​these​ ​two​ ​documents​ ​at​ ​our next​ ​meeting​ ​for​ ​recommendation IV. Discussion​ ​of​ ​Board​ ​Member​ ​Statement​ ​of​ ​Commitment​ ​and​ ​Staffing Recommendations​ ​(10​ ​minutes) ● Agreement​ ​that​ ​the​ ​Board​ ​Member​ ​Statement​ ​of​ ​Commitment​ ​looks​ ​good ● Discussion​ ​about​ ​ensuring​ ​Board​ ​diversity​ ​and​ ​representation ● Simon​ ​will​ ​present​ ​staffing​ ​recommendation​ ​at​ ​the​ ​next​ ​BSC​ ​meeting V.
