Portland Continuum of Care August 26, 9:00-12:00 Back Bay Room, 196 Lancaster Street Attendees: Jon Bradley, Chet Barnes, Rob Parritt, Norman Maze, Adam Harr, Steve Ellis, Vickey Rand, Ginny Dill, Veronica Ross, Joanie Klaymen, and Amy Grommes Pulaski. 1) Introductions & Overview The group introduces themselves. 2) Accept Meeting Summary Chet asks a few questions regarding the past meeting summary. He clarifies the CoC BoD meeting will be Sept 8. The summary is accepted. 3) Scoring Results The Scoring Committee completed reviewing and scoring each of the Portland COC funding applications. Scoring was based on the tool approved by the Portland COC. A list of projects and their scores was provided. The group reviewed and discussed the results. There was a discussion focused on the applications in Tier 2, specifically Florence House and Logan Place. There was a concern that Tier 2 projects may loose funding. 4) Tie Breakers There were several applications that scored the same amount. The group discusses how those projects will be ranked in the application to HUD. They are currently presented as the highest dollar amount requested and the other tied applications in descending order. The group agrees that this will be manner for which applications can be ranked, when they are tied. Next meeting: The next meeting will be Friday September 2. Anne Gass will be joining us.
