Order of Business
The presiding officer shall determine the order of the agenda and all questions of parliamentary procedure at the
meeting. Items on the agenda may be taken out of order. The public body may combine two or more agenda items
for consideration; remove an item from the agenda; or delay discussion relating to an item on the agenda at any
time. See, NRS 241. Items scheduled to be heard at a specific time will be heard no earlier than the stated time, but
may be heard later.
Virtual Public Comment
No action may be taken on a matter raised under general public comment until the matter is included on a
subsequent agenda as an action item.
Pursuant to NRS 241, those wishing to submit public comment may do so through the online public comment form
found at Reno.Gov/NABPublicComment, by sending an email to nabs@reno.gov , by leaving a voicemail at 775-
433-4491 or at the meeting during virtual public comment. Public comment is limited to three (3) minutes per
person. Comments received prior to 4:00 p.m. on the day preceding the meeting will be transcribed, provided to the
Board/Commission/Committee for review, and entered into the record. Comments received after 4:00 pm on the
day preceding the meeting will be provided to the Board for review prior to adjournment, and entered into the

B. Business Items
B.1 Neighborhood Cleanup Update (Information Item Only) – Noemi Gomez Martinez, City
of Reno
B.2 RPD Quarterly Report (Information Item Only) – Follow-up Update from the Reno
Police Department on November, December, and January Crime Statistics
B.3 Development Projects (Information Item Only) – Following presentations by the
project’s developer or representative, NAB members and the public will have the
opportunity to ask questions about the project and provide feedback. The NAB will not
take any action on development projects. NAB members and the public are encouraged to
complete the development project review form with their input. All development project
review forms submitted to the community liaison at the NAB meeting or via the online form
will be submitted to the Reno Planning Commission for consideration in the development
review process. City of Reno Planning staff will be available for questions but will not
provide project presentation. Project descriptions are subject to change.
B.3.1 The Canyons/Canyons Edge Water Tanks (LDC22-00055) – A request has
been made by Truckee Meadows Water Authority for a major site plan review to
allow for cuts greater than 20 feet/fills greater than 10 feet associated with the
placement of two new water tanks on a portion of a ±120 acre site in the
Unincorporated Transition (UT-40) zoning district and the Single-Family
Residential (SF-3) zoning district. The project site is located approximately 1,500
feet northeast of the eastern terminus of Mine Shaft Drive. The subject site has a
Master Plan land use designation of Unincorporated Transition (UT) and Single-
Family Neighborhood (SF).
B.3.2 Moana Park and Fields Zoning Map Amendment (LDC22-00056) – A request
has been submitted for a zoning map amendment from ±4.10 acres of General
Commercial (GC), ±9.57 acres of Neighborhood Commercial (NC) and ±8.12
acres of Single-Family Residential (SF-8) to ±21.79 acres of Public Facility (PF).
The ±21.79 acre site is located south of Moana Lane, west of Baker Lane, and
east of Grant Drive. The site has a Master Plan land use designation of Parks,
Greenways and Open Space (PGOS).
B.3.3 Gateway at Galena (LDC22-00058) – A request has been made for a: 1) tentative
map to develop a) 361 residential condominiums, and b) 213 non-residential
condominiums; and 2) a conditional use permit to allow for: a) more than 20 single-
family attached dwellings in the Mixed-Use Suburban (MS) zone, and b) grading
that results in fills greater than 10 feet in height. The ±33.71 acre site contains
frontage on Wedge Parkway to the west and is located directly south of the
University of Nevada - Reno Redfield Campus. The site is within the Mixed-Use
Suburban (MS) zone and has a Master Plan land use designation of Public/Quasi-
Public (PQP).
