MAYOR'S REPORT I will be attending Lemont’s State of the Village address tomorrow. The Valley View Enrichment Foundation dinner will be held on March 10th. The Knights of Columbus will be holding their St Patrick’s dinner on March 11th. SRA will be holding their Battle of the Brains Trivia contest on March 11th. The March 15th Village Board meeting will be cancelled. PH17-2240 Public Hearing on an Ordinance Authorizing the Execution of an Annexation and Development Agreement (Series N of IBT Holdings, LLC, an Illinois limited liability company, and Romeoville Properties L.L.C., a Michigan limited liability company) A motion was made by Trustee Griffin, seconded by Trustee Richards, that this Public Hearing be opened. Mr Drdak thanked the Mayor and Board for this opportunity, he is honored to be able to serve his fellow veterans. A motion was made by Trustee Griffin, seconded by Trustee Richards, that this Appointment be Accepted. A motion was made by Trustee Griffin, seconded by Trustee Richards, that this Ordinance be Approved. CLERK'S REPORT Congratulations to Marissa Cardoni on her promotion. Welcome to our new Veteran's Commission member. The Community Service Council met on February 21st. The Valley View Enrichment Foudation is finalizing the details for their annual fundraiser on March 10th. 7. CITIZEN'S, COMMITTEES, COMMISSIONS AND LIAISON REPORTS Trustee Chavez- No report. Trustee Griffin- The Veteran's Commission will meet April 14th. Welcome to Dan. Trustee Clancy- A Recreation update was given. Trustee Richards- Thanks to REMA for keeping us informed when we are experiencing bad weather. Planning and Zoning will meet on March 14th. They have a full agenda for that evening. Trustee Aguirre- Fire and Police have offered a conditional offer of employment. They have 10 candidates going through the testing process. The next meeting will be March 14th. 8. VILLAGE MANAGER'S REPORT Special thanks to Jon Zabrocki and Josh Potter for all of their hard work with the Highpoint Apartment project. ORD17-1355 An Ordinance Regulating Temporary Dumpsters (Amending Chapters 93 and 43) This Ordinance was Approved. RES17-2264 A Resolution Authorizing the Amendment of a Contract for the Provision of Collection and Cost Recovery Services (Fire Recovery USA, LLC) This Resolution was Approved. RES17-2266 A Resolution Awarding the 2016 Manhole Rehabilitation Project at Poplar Ridge to Front Range Environmental, LLC in the Amount of $67,300.00 (5 Formal Bids Were Received). This Resolution was Approved. 10. BOARD COMMENTS Trustee Chavez- Thanks to Dan Drdak for volunteering to serve on the Veteran's Commission. STEM Fest will be held Saturday, March 4th at the library. T-Ball/Baseball/Softball registration has begun at the Recreation Center. Youth Lacrosse is now being offered for K-8th grade. The Youth Outreach Commission Trivia Challenge will be held on March 31st at Mickey's. Trustee Griffin- Welcome Dan to the Veteran's Commission. The Valley View Enrichment Foundation fundraiser will be held on March 10th.
