CONSENT AGENDA A motion was made by Trustee Griffin, seconded by Trustee Clancy, to do a consent agenda. RES17-2361 A Resolution Establishing a Development Security for the Public, Stormwater and Erosion Control Improvements at Village Place Apartments located at 20525 Normantown Road (PZC#16-030). This Resolution was Approved. RES17-2362 A Resolution Waiving the Public Bidding Process and Authorizing a Contract for the Purchase of One (1) New Chevrolet Tahoe Police K9 Squad, Fully Equipped This Resolution was Approved. RES17-2363 A Resolution Authorizing a Concession License Agreement—Romeoville Youth Football and Cheerleading This Resolution was Approved. RES17-2365 A Resolution Authorizing the Execution of a Lease Agreement Village of Romeoville Page 2 Printed on 9/28/2017 Village Board Meeting Minutes August 16, 2017 with MailFinance to lease a NeoPost IN-600 Postage Machine for the Parks and Recreation Department This Resolution was Approved. 5. MAYOR'S REPORT Thanks to all who worked so hard to make this year’s RomeoFest a great success. Congratulations to Chief Skoryi on his retirement. Condolences to Dave on the passing of his grandmother. Valley View School District will be holding a ribbon cutting for their early childhood center on August 24th. Harris Bank will be holding their ribbon cutting on August 31st. Village offices will be closed on September 4th in observance of Labor Day. 6. CLERK'S REPORT Congratulations to Lieutenant Rymsza. Condolences to Dave Richards. The Community Service Council met August 16th. They are planning their first Autumn Gala on September 14th. The Valley View Enrichment Foundation met on July 26th. The next meeting will be August 23rd. 7. CITIZEN'S, COMMITTEES, COMMISSIONS AND LIAISON REPORTS No reports 8. VILLAGE MANAGER'S REPORT Thanks to staff for all of their hard work on making RomeoFest a great success. Special thanks to the REMA volunteers. The I-55/Weber Rd bid has been postponed to October. 9. NEW BUSINESS A motion was made by Trustee Griffin, seconded by Trustee Aguirre, to do a consent agenda for all New Business excluding RES17-2364. ORD17-1394 An Ordinance Amending Chapter 80 "Traffic Schedules" Schedule B, of the Romeoville Code of Ordinances Pertaining to Stop Sign Intersections This Ordinance was Approved. ORD17-1396 An Ordinance Authorizing the Execution of a Real Estate Purchase Contract with RHWC II LLC, an Illinois limited liability company (Magid Glove and Safety—Well Site—Part of 1300 Naperville Drive) This Ordinance was Approved. RES17-2364 A Resolution Authorizing the Execution of an Intergovernmental Agreement with Valley View Community Unit School District 365U (Temporary Bus Driver Administrative Space) A motion was made by Trustee Griffin, seconded by Trustee Aguirre, that this Resolution be Approved. BOARD COMMENTS Trustee Chavez- Condolences to the Richards family and the Clemmons family. Congratulations to Robert Rymsza. Thanks to all who worked and participated in RomeoFest. There will be a concert on August 17th and one more Cruise Night on August 31st. Creative Play registration is now open. The Founders Day Parade is September 17th.
