5. MAYOR'S REPORT
Condolences to Linda Derusha on the passing of her nephew.
Condolences to the family of Leroy Brown who passed away today.
Thanks to all who attended our Halloween Fest this past Friday.
Join us for the Costumes and Cocktails event this Saturday at
Highpoint.
Lewis University will be hosting a Pumpkin Pitch and Shred Event
on November 4th from 9:00-12:00.
Join us for our Veteran’s Day Service on November 11th at 10:00
a.m.
I will be a member of AARP’s Legislative Panel on November 13th
at Prairie Bluff.
Village Offices will be closed on November 10th in observance of
Veteran’s Day.

17-2418 Appointment of Commission/Committee Members
Chris Venn thanked the Board for her appointment. She looks forward to
volunteering for the Village.
Brandi Camp thanked the Board for this appointment and stated that she
looks forward to serving on the Economic Development Commission.
A motion was made by Trustee Richards, seconded by Trustee Palmiter, that this
Motion be Approved. The motion carried by the following vote:

6. CLERK'S REPORT
Congratulations to the Flag Football Superbowl winners.

7. CITIZEN'S, COMMITTEES, COMMISSIONS AND LIAISON REPORTS
Trustee Aguirre-Police and Fire Commission/Uptown Development
The next Police and Fire Commission meeting is November 4th.
Trustee Richards-Planning and Zoning/Zoning Board of Appeals/REMA
The next Planning and Zoning meeting will be held on November 14th.
Thanks to REMA for their hard work. They are out tonight on New Ave for a
problem out there. Avoid New Ave as it is closed.
Trustee Clancy-Beautification/Parks and Recreation
A Recreation update was given.
Trustee Griffin-EDC/Veteran's
The EDC will meet on November 16th.
The Veteran's Commission will be attending the Veteran's Day Ceremony.
On Thursday, November 9th we will have a fundraiser at Culvers.
Mayor Noak thanked State Representative Natalie Manley and State
Senator Biss who conducted a press conference in Romeoville today to
announce their Silver Search Program. This is an amber alert for patients
with Alzheimers or dementia. Also, he was honored to be a panelist for the
Real Estate Journal's Industrial and Transportation Conference.

8. VILLAGE MANAGER'S REPORT
Take a drive down Arlington and Belmont. The decorative lighting is going
up. This is a nice project.
He thanked Robinson Engineering, Lyn Corraro from Metra, and Nathan
Darga who worked so hard to get the Metra Station project completed.
9. NEW BUSINESS
A motion was made by Trustee Griffin, seconded by Trustee Palmiter, to do a
consent agenda for all New Business excluding ORD17-1416 and with RES17-2413
pending final attorney review. The motion carried by the following vote:

Maintaining our infrastructure is so important, just look at what Puerto Rico
is going through.
