CONSENT AGENDA A motion was made by Trustee Griffin, seconded by Trustee Clancy, to do a consent agenda. RES17-2415 A Resolution Approving a Plat of Dedication for the Hayes Property This Resolution was Approved. 5. MAYOR'S REPORT Thanks again to our representatives for joining us tonight. Thanks to our Township Supervisor for popping in tonight. Condolences to Linda Palmiter on the passing of her uncle and to Maureen Fox on the passing of her mother. Thanks to all who attended our Costumes and Cocktails event. Thanks to all who joined us for our Veteran’s Day Service. I attended the Lewis University Drone Drop at RHS. Congratulations to the students who received their acceptance letters. We hosted a legislative luncheon yesterday. Thanks to Senator Bertino-Tarrant, Representative Manley and Representative Connor for joining us. Please give to Harvest Saturday if you are able. The American Legion Post 52 and the Veteran’s Commission will be hosting a Veteran’s Luncheon on Saturday, November 18th from 1:00-3:00 at the Athletic and Event Center. Romeoville Express Car Wash will be having their ribbon cutting on November 29th at 11:00. Also, The Cougar Group will be having their ribbon cutting on December 1st at 2:00. I will be meeting with the students at Creekside Elementary to discuss how local government works. We will be having an Illinois Bicentennial Flag Raising Ceremony on December 4th at 12:00 in front of Village Hall. Village Offices will be closed on November 23rd and 24th for Thanksgiving. RES17-2418 A Resolution Authorizing an Agreement for Alarm Monitoring Services - Tyco Integrated Security This Resolution was Approved. 10. BOARD COMMENTS Trustee Chavez- Welcome back to Vic. Please help on Harvest Saturday. This is truly a community event. Thanks to our Representatives for coming to our meeting. Glad to see the new offices that are coming. We need this type of space.
