RES18-2452 Waive the Bidding Requirements and Utilize the Suburban Purchasing Cooperative for the Purchase of One 2018 Ford F250 4x4 Pickup Truck This Resolution was Approved. RES18-2453 Authorize the Lease/Purchase of a 2018 Ford E-450 with an Osage Super Warrior Ambulance Module from North Central Emergency Vehicle, Inc. This Resolution was Approved. RES18-2454 A Resolution To Reauthorize The Waiving Of Bids For The Purchase Of A 2018 7-Passenger Dodge Caravan For The Village Parks And Recreation Department From A Different Vendor Bob Ridings Fleet Sales Through The Illinois State Contract #4018309 This Resolution was Approved. RES18-2455 A Resolution Authorizing The Waiving Of Bids For The Purchase Of A 2018 Ford Transit 12-Passenger Wagon For The Village Department Of Parks And Recreation From Landmark Ford, Incorporated Through The Illinois State Contract #4018492 This Resolution was Approved. RES18-2456 Waive the bid process and accept the proposal to purchase Genesis Extrication Equipment from EMC (Equipment Management Company) of Channahon, IL. This Resolution was Approved. RES18-2457 A Resolution Waiving the Public Bidding Process and Authorizing a Contract with FARO This Resolution was Approved. 5. MAYOR'S REPORT Thanks to everyone who took part in the election and congratulations to the winners. I attended the National League of Cities Conference last week. I attended the Best Buddies event at RHS this past Sunday. This is a great event. I attended the Bridges to a New Day annual Brunch on March 18th. I will be attending the ICSC Real Estate Forum tomorrow. Join us for Pizza with Peter Rabbit and the Easter Egg Hunt on Friday evening. The NWCSRA will be holding their Battle of the Bands Trivia Night on Saturday evening. The Vietnam War recognition day will be held on March 29th at 11:00 a.m. at the Village Hall. Village offices will be closed on March 30th. The Village Officials vs SRA basketball game will take place on April 3rd. Happy Easter to all. Happy birthday to his wife. ORD18-1471 An Ordinance Amending Chapter 112 (Alcoholic Beverages) of the Village of Romeoville Code of Ordinances A motion was made by Trustee Chavez, seconded by Trustee Griffin, that this Ordinance be Approved. CLERK'S REPORT The Valley View Enrichment Foundation fundraiser raised $11,595.00. Preparations are being made for the June 7th Golf Outing. All of the proceeds are for Valley View Schools. The Community Service Council March meeting was cancelled. Happy Easter. 7. VILLAGE MANAGER'S REPORT Happy Easter to the Board and staff. Congratulations to the Fire Department for fulfilling a young man's Make a Wish request. 9. NEW BUSINESS ORD18-1470 An Ordinance Approving a Special Use Permit for a Planned Unit Development - Final Development Plan for Holiday Inn Express at Normantown Square A motion was made by Trustee Griffin, seconded by Trustee Richards, that this Ordinance be Approved. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 5- Trustee Chavez, Trustee Griffin, Trustee Richards, Trustee Clancy, and Trustee Aguirre Absent: 1- Trustee Palmiter Non-voting: 1- Mayor Noak 10. BOARD COMMENTS Trustee Chavez- Condolences to the Sedlack family on the loss of Bernadette. The Youth Outreach Commission will be hosting their Trivia Challenge Fundraiser on April 6th at 6:30 at Mickey's Grill and Pub. They are looking for teams, contact the Recreation Center. Happy Easter to all. Trustee Griffin- The trivia night is a lot of fun. March 29th is National Viet Nam Veteran's Day. There will be a ceremony at Village Hall at 11:00 a.m. All are invited. The Veteran's Commission scholarship applications are due by April 6th. Happy Easter and Passover. Trustee Clancy- Join us for Pizza with Peter Rabbit. Condolences to the Schneider and Sedlack family. Happy Easter and enjoy your family. Trustee Richards- Condolences to the Sedlack family and the Schneider family. The trivia night is a great event. Bee Brothers will be holding a hiring fair this friday and saturday at the restaurant. The March 27th Planning and Zoning meeting was cancelled.
